Veggie Rainbow Pizza (Vegan)

I made this amazing vegan veggie supreme pizza this past weekend. It literally had my home smelling like pizza hut! I'm not great at writing out recipes, but I did my best as always enjoy!




Traditional Crust Recipe w/garlic
    • 3/4 cup warm water (105°F to 115°F)
    • 1 envelope active dry yeast
    • 2 cups (or more) organic  all purpose or unbleached flour (gluten free option oat flour)
    • 1 teaspoon sugar (to help activate yeast)
    • 3/4 teaspoon of garlic powder or minced
    • dash of oregano
    • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  1. Toppings

Vegan Parmesan cheese (nut-free) (roughly 3/4 cup hemp seeds and 3-4 tbsp of  nutritional yeast, blend together until you get a crumby consistency)

Seasonings (oregano,basil,red pepper flakes.)

Fresh chopped veggies  (tomatoes,corn,kale,red onions,and anymore of your favs)

My Quick marinara sauce ( a can of crushed tomatoes(no salt added) add a 1 tsp of garlic and onion powder,fresh basil, oregano and 2-3 tsps of honey sweeten to  taste, a dash of olive oil (optional) and red pepper flakes, you can cook this on the stovetop until it simmers for maxmuim flavor or just use as is it will cook in the oven.)

Instructions

  1. Pour 3/4 cup warm water into small bowl;add sugar stir in yeast. Let stand until yeast dissolves, about 5 minutes.
  2. Brush large bowl lightly with olive oil. Mix 2 cups flour, add yeast mixture and 3 tablespoons oil; process until dough forms a sticky ball. Transfer to lightly floured surface. KNEAD dough until smooth, adding more flour by tablespoonfuls if dough is very sticky, about 1 minute. Transfer to prepared bowl; turn dough in bowl to coat with oil. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let dough rise in warm draft-free area until doubled in volume, about 1 hour. PUNCH down dough. DO AHEAD Can be made 1 day ahead. Store in airtight container in refrigerator. ROLL out dough according to recipe instructions. (Start in center of dough, working outward toward edges but not rolling over them.)
  3. I like to cook my crust briefly for a few minutes, then take out and top with your toppings and put it back in the oven.
  4. Bake for 17-20 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.
